Behind the wheels, one per each. They face a toothed wheel behind each regular wheel.
Where is the rear wheel abs sensor on a 1998 Honda CRV?
The instructions to replace a Honda CR-V ABS wheel sensor is available in the service manual. If you do not own a manual, it can be obtained from Honda upon request.

NO it must have it.
No, an abs sensor will only affect antilock braking.
Yes it does
this could be you're ABS sensor
On 2 wheel drives the rear speed sensor is on the transmission tail shaft housing. For 4x4 trucks it is on the transfer case. I am talking about the ABS sensor for the rear wheels.
anti-lock breake system i believe
I'd steer clear of THAT shop and try another one or another Honda dealership. The fact that you say the ABS warning light is flashing means that SOMETHING is not right with the braking system. Get it to a shop ASAP and get it taken care of before you may find yourself unable to stop.
That Could be 1 of 2 things, ABS module or ABS wheel sensor. If it comes on when you start moving, it is most likely the ABS wheel sensor. If it does it all the time, most likely ABS module.
bad speed sensor
