You don't. There is no cabin air filter on the Gen I Solara. The interior air filter appeared on the 2004 (gen II) and later Solara. Cheers
Answer: You don't. Cabin air filters were introduced on the Solara in 2002. (According to local dealer.) If I am not mistaken, you access the cover by opening the hood and removing the A/C fresh air intake screen and reaching in the opening to unlatch a smaall access door.
No. The Generation I Solara doesn't have a cabin air filter. There are filters (behind the glove box door) for the Gen II Solara (2004 and later). Cheers
