It is built into the mass air flow sensor on that year.
That will be on the side of the air filter box where the air intake duct work comes out of the air filter box and goes to the engine / Throttle body housing. The duct work is clamped to the mass air flow senser.
The intake temperature sensor is located on the side of the air filter case on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 4.3 1500. It is on the top of the engine.
Under the intake manifold.
Under the intake manifold there are 2 knock sensors
how do you change the knock sensor in a 2003 Chevy silverado 5.3
Behind the starter.
Should be mounted on the intake under the engine cover. NEW ANSWER: The AIT sensor is part of the mass air flow sensor on that year. Must replace MAF sensor to repair the AIT sensor. NEUTZ
There are 2 knock sensors on these motors. They are located in the valley cover under the intake manifold.
There are 2 of them and they both are underneith the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to even get to them are see them.
10mm
They are underneith the intake manifold. You can not see are get to them until you REMOVE the INTAKE manifold.
The intake manifold is bolted on the center of the engine between the 2 Valve covers.
That engine has 2 of them and there both underneith the intake manifold. You can not see are get to them until you remove the intake.
