It's in the engine compartement behind the ECU, there are 2 relays, one is srewed on the left inside bumper
last relay behind the battery.
Certainly inside the fuse box at the left of the dahsboard!
You use a funnel and pour it down the dipstick hole.
possibly the up solonoid located in the trunk attached to the convertable top motor.
Yes, the pump is fed from the auto shut down (asd) relay. It is screwed to the inner fender near the battery. There will also be fuses or fuse link wires near the battery.
It is located in the main relay and fuse panel under the hood on the drivers side wheel well.
the car probably senses that it slowed down or is set to shift at large bumps if it is an automatic and if it is a manual it might be a bad clutch
If the starter turns freely, a quick and easy thing to do is swap the automatic shut down relay with the air conditioner relay. If it starts then get a new relay.
in my 2001 4L jeep grand Cherokee the automatic shut down relay is located in the power distribution panel that is mounted between the fender and the battery. if it is labeled like mine it should be number 38 marked asd.
Automatic. Between the rad and the engine, drivers side, look down a little.
You Don't.
The Automatic Shut Down relay, as such, does not exist on 87 Lebaron. It is incorporated within the power control computer module. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, this computer module is located behind and under the battery tray INSIDE AND ENTIRELY WITHIN THE FRESH AIR DUCT !! This air duct runs from in front of the left front wheel at the grill, collecting fresh air, to under and behind the battery tray, exits into a 2 1/2" flex tube, which hooks onto the air cleaner. The local Chrysler garage could not even answer this question. This was my own question posed a couple of days ago, which I solved myself. Judging from the amount of similar questions I read, this may be the case in Chrysler products from the 80's up through 2000; I don't know. But the local parts stores do have the ASD relay in question listed for my 87 Lebaron. Hope this info helps someone besides me.
