I own an 08 328xi and I looked at the 09 328xi. There is literally little to no difference. If you have the navigation system equipped they did change the system. The 09+ also have an iPod/iPhone feature from BMW that an app that allows to do lock and unlock the vehicle, turn on lights, etc. If you're looking for one, my advice is to just get whatever is cheaper. If the Navi is important to you, the 09 may be your choice. The 07-08 navi is still pretty good. I like the system in mine, but the newer one is obviously newer and improved. There is no engine differences and little to none in the body.
