You need to remove the bottom cover (which is held on by nine screws if I remember correctly) and then gently pry it free around all four sides. The battery uses a kludgy ribbon cable to connect to the computer, so be sure to disconnect it before removing and replacing the battery. The process of opening the cover, swapping out the battery, and reversing the process should take no more than five minutes. However, if you are not comfortable with exposing the delicate innards of your laptop, take it to a local repair shop and they can do the work for you quickly and easily. Many stores (such as mine) won't even charge you for the labor, only for the battery.
