I would visit www.wizards.com/magic and use the event locator on the left hand side. Just enter your zip code and make sure that you are only searching MTG. It will give you a list of events in your local area. I have noticed that some stores do not list Friday night magic under their events (if you are unfamilier, Friday night magic is a weekly promotion that wiziards has been doing for some time now, and many stores do mini tournaments each firday somtimes with a minimal fee to provide prize support). Friday night magic has several formats so make sure you contact the store first to see if they do FNM and then to check which format will be played the following week. In my experience FNM is a good way to get in some friendly gaming. As a bonus wizards offers rewards for playing in events such as these through the DCI. If you do not have a DCI number already the store will provide you with the quick sign up sheet, which you can then use to sign up for magic rewards on wizards website. You will receive special textless promo cards and/or premium foil cards depending on how many events you play. Hope this helps.
there are hundreds of forums online that you can list cards that you have and expected prices. Ebay.
Got to any tournament and you can sell cards that people are after, or at a local Card store.
Here in Rochester, Craigslist is a wonderful option because a lot of people use it. Heck, I would buy your collection! If you are looking to sell themquickly, go to millennium games, there are Always people there willing to buy them for a reduced rate.
I am wondering the same thing, does anyone know? Or has the original poster learned of anywhere yet?
Thanks
www.Buymorecards.net is a good place in Pittsburgh to sell your cards.
According to Yelp 'Tour De Jeux' is the highest MTG shop in Montreal followed by 'Carta Magica'.
eBay is a good place to sell cards.
to get more magic on trollz.com there is a new place coming soon you'll get more magic there. from Morgan in rochester ny
The best place to get cards is at a local 'shop'. Hobby shops which sell Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, or comics usually sell Magic The Gathering cards (and generally cheaper than larger retailers) in booster packs (15 to 16 cards) and have singles for sale. You can also often find booster packs, as well as, pre-constructed 60 card decks at Wal-Mart and Target.
There is no real cheap place to get Magic the Gathering theme decks, but you can get them for a good price at the magic online store. Most websites selling decks sell them for a much higher price than necessary
E-bay
You get them really cheap at international magic which is a massive magic shop in London.
Probably Gamescape. On Tuesdays, they have games in the back.
Try checking out some eBay.com auctions. Or you can go to www.magicthegathering.com, click the community link and check the Magic Forums for players who are selling or trading their collection away. Or check your local area for card/hobby stores that sell Magic the Gathering cards. Usually they will have bargain bins for common rarity cards. They also may have other similar deals for more rare cards.
The best way of finding place to play is to call local gaming stores and asking them when they play.
The best place to make a deck online would be cockatrice.de because after you make a deck you can test for free.
