I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe it is on the drivers side of the
transmission , extended out from the bell housing , where the hydraulic line
enters the bell housing for the slave cylinder
The bleeder valve for the brakes on a 1997 Ford Ranger is located in the brake line where it meets the brake disc. The wheel will have to be removed to access the bleeder screw for drum brakes.
Brake bleeder? Clutch bleeder? Coolant bleeder?
Some cars have no valve and you have to loosten the line to bleed the cyl. Fill the slave cyl as full as you can get it before mounting it .
you don't adjust it. It is a Hydraulic clutch unit. you have to bleed it. There is a 7/16" bleeder valve on the transmission. clay Colorado
The bleeder valve is on the front of the clutch housing. There is a metal line that goes from the firewall master cylinder to the slave cylinder. The metal line goes across the transmission. Follow it and you will find a bleeder screw with a rubber cover on it. Take the cover off to bleed the system.
On the transmission there is a bleeder valve it should be located twords the top near the front of the tranny. The easiest way is to use a vaccuum bleeder or run a hose from the bleeder in to a jug of brake fluid. open the bleeder to release fluid/air then close it and pump the clutch. repeat this process until you can feel the clutch coming in also you should be able to hear it. rangers are a pig to bleed as they have all sorts of lines running through that cause air pockets and sometimes it can take days
where do you find the bleeder valve on a Ford Diesel F-250 6.0
how to i change a clutch in a 1993 ford ranger
Doesn't have a cooling system bleeder valve.
All you have to do is let it gravity bleed. Just open the bleeder valve on the transmission and have someone watch the fluid level in the resavore. It might take a few minutes but that's the easiest way that I have found.
The hydraulic bleeder valve should be located on the drivers side (left) of the transmission up in a little hole with a rubber cover over the bleeder screw. Do not over tighten the screw or you will break it, then you would have to drop the transmission to replace it. Good luck.
