It may be the blend door actuator. This part starting making a clicking sound in my 2003 Lincoln Navigator. It is located in the back right panel next to the rear seat. When I removed the actuator and opened it up, I found that one of the gears was partially stripped.

Cannot seem to get the air to flow throught the vents top or bottom. I have replaced the faulty blend door actuator loctaed on the side of the unit, but still no air or anything. Question: some one said that the openings have to be reset in order for the actuator to work, is this true? you need to replace the blend door actuator located on heater box above gas pedal, a little to the right . it will have a electrical connector attached to it.
