I read on the internet that on the 2006 it is on the engine on the passenger side when looking from the ront, though it is hard to see. If nothing else, you could check there. That is what I am going to check on my 2007. Good luck!
2008 Tahoe block heater cords location?
where is block heater cord for 2008 ford escape
no
Under the hood. Attached to the engine block
I don't know either
It has a timing chain.
It may not have one as that is an option.
Take the cover off the engine. The block heater wire is tucked away there in plain sight. You will know it by the 120v plug. It may have a cover over it. If you are looking for the actual block heater , follow the wire.
Your engine block heater cord plug is plugged into an extension cord, then into your garage or home outlet. Not into the engine.
YesYes
It is an option and you might not have it if you can't find it
Usually in place of the passenger side rear freeze plug.
