Mine does not have a block heater. It has a oil heating element on the top of the oil filter housing. It's a '99 F350 7.3l diesel.
The plug should be hidden in the bumper in the vents.

If there is no cord hanging you have to buy one.not all trucks came with thr cord.the heater is in the block.check for the cord by the grille....vinny

if it does there should be a plug on the side of your oil filter housing. if there is and just no cord you can find them on e-bay for around 20 bucks. they had an option for a heavy duty heater ant you would see a big about 3x10x12 aluminum unit in the very front of the truck on the pass side.

Look by the oil filter if you have one it should be located there and then try to follow where it goes. mike
