Under the hood, on the firewall, passenger side, close to the blower motor.
Open the hood ...it should be on the left side of the firewall...right off of the blower motor box...
You probably have a shorted wire going to the motor or switch. You'll have trace the wires and find the damaged section.
Could be,The blower speed switch or electrical plug at switch is burned out.The high speed blower relay is burned out.The blower motor is on its way out.The blower motor speed control resister is burned out,The cabin filter (if applicable) is very dirty.
The blower motor resistor on my 2007 Chev. Colorado is located on the passenger's side, under the dash, behind the glove box. You don't need to remove the glove box, just lay on the floorboard and look up under the dash. There's a 4-wire harness plugged into the resistor assy (white plastic), in the bottom of the black heater blower shroud. Unplug the harness, remove two small screws, and pull down to remove the resistor assy.
YES.
YES they are the same engines.
i have a 2003 chev astro van and need to replace the blower fan
The blower is on the PASSENGER side firewall and a bit under the fender. You access it from the engine bay.Note if you have lost a speed it is likely the resistor pack which is also in the engine bay. Remove the wash & antifreeze overflows to get access to it.Good luck,Nick
How do you change from Kilometers to Miles on chev colorado 2004?
Chev 5.3
o4 and 05 are basically the same motor. you may need to reprogram the computer in your 05 with the 04 vin code. other than that no difference.
