Remove the glove box by opening it and squeezing the right and leftside allowing it to drop out. Make sure that it is empty or everything will fall out on the floor board. You will see at 12 oclock a small metal bracket wich holds a with connector and a black square relay. Remove the two 7mm screws holding the metal bracket. Remove the relay and white connector from the bracket and set the bracket to the side. Directly behind where the metal bracket was mounted you will see a electrical connector mounted vertically into the resistor. Remove the connector. Now comes the tricky part! Due to the small amount of space that you will have to work it will be necessary to disconnect some of the connectors and the relay and tuck them behind the resistor. You will need small hands to put a 1/4 drive socket with a 7mm socket and there are two hex head screws that hold the resistor board in place. One to the right of the connector and one to the left. Once you are successful in removing these screws the resistor board will come loose but you will not be able to pull it out with out bending the resistors on the board. To replace the resistor bend the resistors on the new board making sure that you do not break them wiggle it into place. Just before putting the screws back into the resistor board be sure to bend the resistors back so that they do not touch. Proceed with the reverse of the removal. I had to do this to my truck and it worked well.
As different member I would like to add this worked also on my 1997 Silverado

Most likely the Blower Motor Resistor.
This is typically caused by a bad resistor. Could be the switch itself, but it's usually the resistor.
Its not the relay, it is the blower motor resistor.
If yourtalking about the heater blower, I believe they are hidden behind the glove box inner liner.
Yes, located in the blower motor resistor pack. Follow the wires backward from the blower motor to find it.
It is located on the passenger side below the dash. A 7-wire harness goes to it. It is next to the blower motor, which is circular in shape.
you have to remove the glovebox, its behind that, it has 2 bolts and a "connector", should be on the left side of the blower housing.
On 03 silverados i belive the blower motor relay is internal to the blower motor resistor. i could be wrong though, check the underhood fuse/relay panel for one.
Right next to the blower motor
I think the blower motor relay is internal to the blower motor resistor which is located under the passenger side dash.
In a 1988 Chevy 2500, the blower motor resistor can be found on the passenger side. It usually is behind the glove box.
