The front blower resistor is under the hood, over the passenger side strut tower, up near the base of the windshield.
Resistor is located in the lower right side of the heater housing on manual a/c vehicles. Resistor is located in the lower right side of the heater housing on manual a/c vehicles.
the resistor is located in the blower module which is located under the hood by the a/c evaprator case
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
The blower resistor is usually found attached to the A/C-heater box under the hood.
Its located in the a/c heater blower housing on the passengers side of the vehicle........
The blower resistor should be a diamond shaped thingy on the firewall in engine compartment, on passenger side near the A/C box. there will be an elec connection to it, and two metal screws. just unscrew it, pull it out, replace in reverse order, viola! all the speeds on the motor again. AJ
It is a resistor or a group of resisters used to control the flow or current in a circuit. Like the resistor block in a car controls the speed of the a/c blower.
The HVAC resistor pack is used to provide the various speeds of the blower motor for heating and A/C. According to other sources, the resistor pack mounts to the rear of the blower motor, which is located under the passenger side dash.
Under the passenger side of the dash, behind the a/c blower motor. It has a long wire connector attached to it. The GM part # you need is 89018643, and it lists for $38.65 plus tax at most GM dealerships.
2 8mm screws hold it into the front of the plastic box under the hood next to the A/C condensor on the passender side near the firewall
on the blower module located on the A/C evaporator case R/S under the hood
Most likely the "low" speed section of the blower motor resistor is open. Unless you have the automatic A/C/heat control, the resistor will cost you 20 or 25 dollars.
