Under the Bonnet.
Under the Bonnet.
On the 1957 - 1974 version, the filler cap is on top of the tank, inside the front luggage compartment (bonnet). Release the bonnet from inside the car, open the bonnet by sliding the release catch in the gap first. The tank is facing you and the cap just unscrews.
Look under the bonnet and its under your mum.

right foot well, above right pedal. If the van is like the punto - if the level is slack, then the bonnet release cable has snapped. You'll have to jack the car up, and access / pull the cable from underneath.I jacked up the car, placed it on a stand on the passenger side, and reached up underneath.I've videoed it - quick to do once you see it.http://bit.ly/Yh1dQ9Read more:Where_is_the_bonnet_release_on_a_Fiat_Punto
AnswerThe Bonnet is called the Hood in the U.S. Pull the lever inside the car, on drivers side. Then release the hood (bonnet) with the lever located in the front grille. If the level is slack - it points to a snapped bonnet release cable. To open the bonnet in this situation (on a Fiat Punto), you'll need to get under the car.I jacked up the car, placed it on a stand on the passenger side, and reached up underneath. Pull the handle on the drivers side to release it and then put your hand - palm up - through the gap at the front of bonnet in the middle so your fingers can lift the final release handle. If the gas struts are u/s then it will be very heavy to lift.If the level is slack - it points to a snapped bonnet release cable. To open the bonnet in this situation (on a Fiat Punto), you'll need to get under the car.I jacked up the car, placed it on a stand on the passenger side, and reached up underneath.
