Start with the light sensor on the brake pedal arm.
Switch should be located at the upper end of parking brake pedal under dash area Light is common with low brake fluid light
If your brake light is on that inducates that your brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder in your engine compartment is LOW ( assuming that your emergency brake isn't on ) Having a low brake fluid level will also turn on your ABS light
I am presuming that you mean the parking Brake light It may be a loose wire or your parking brake (pedal and arm)needs to be tightened. You may also have to tighten the switch
Could be low on brake fluid. If it is low you either needs brakes or you have a leak in the system.
Take the old one out, and go to your local auto parts.
There is a small switch just above the break peddle that controls the lights.
On a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria : In the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal : ( fuse # 16 is a 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and OBD II )
Usually when the anti-lock brake light comes on and stays on it means there is something wrong with your anti-locking brake system. You may want to look up recalls for your year of crown vic, and definitely get the car in and have it looked over.
Switch on the upper end of the brake pedal under dash Fuse in Fuse box
