Above the brake pedal on the arm the pedal is part of. You will need a flashlight to see up in there. You will see the steering column with a bunch of metal around it. All this can stay. You need to find where the the part is located and on the right side of it (facing the middle of the truck is a weird looking clip. Pry this off with a small screwdriver then push brake pedal down to floor and twist the switch upwards. It should loosen up, enabling you to slide it off. You then use that same small tiny screwdriver to push the retaining clip inwards that holds the wires on. You can then install the new one quite quickly. You dont have to take dash apart or any of the column. (Also helps if you lay on your back then slide under the dash with your legs hanging out. Hope this helps
