InstructionsLift the rear of the Corolla using a floor jack. Jack up on the rear jack point behind the trunk, and place a jack stand under each of the rear pinch welds. Then lower the vehicle onto the jack stands.Pry the plastic rivets off the inner wheel liner with a flat-head screwdriver.Remove the bolts that hold the bumper to the bumper bracket and support.Pull the bumper off the bumper support.Mount the new bumper. Align the mounting holes on the back of the bumper's mounting bracket with the bumper support, and thread and tighten the bumper. Replace the plastic rivets that hold the wheel liner to the rear bumper.Remove the jack stands, and lower the car.
In your glove box , it should be at the very top .
In the little storage area in back...lift up the molded carpet panel. The jack is on the left going toward the bumper.
A lumber jack?I don't a bumper jack but I will tell you whats a lumber jack is.It is a person who cuts down trees.
the bumper jack goes under the back bumper, there might be slots on each side of the rear bumper to put the jack into.
Loosen the mounting bolts, there should be four of them then place a jack under the bumper and jack the bumper up until straight or even then tighten the bolts.

The bumper jack has 3 pieces. The base (square and black) sits on the ground and the jack sits in the base, it won't stand up by itself, it falls over. On the jack head is a grey hook. On the car in each corner (right beside the black bumper pad) is a small 1 inch cut out for the jack hook to hook into, you may have to look under the bumper to see these cut outs. slide the jack and the base under the bumper and lift the jack head into that notch, sometimes they slide up and sometimes you have to "jack" them up into position. The lug wrench handle is designed to fit into the jack and allow you to jack the car. On the jack head there is a lever that says 'down' flip the lever up and move the handle up and down to ratchet the car up, it takes a good ammount of force once the car gets up. Once you are done flip the lever down and ratchet the handle again to lower. When lowering you must push the handle down pretty hard to activate the ratchet function. It's primative but I found it very effective in lifting this heavy car.
