I have a Cooper S 03' and the battery died on me. I couldn't find the release for the trunk you have to jump start the car then release the door locks.......dum thing Mini did but they want you to bring it in towed. you know so you can give them 200 for a battery. go to Walmart or Sam and pay 50-60 for a battery dont forget to bring jumper cables. good luck
Anyone else have to leaking oil pan gasket if so what does Min charge to change it?
thanks
Dwayne
You should mention that there are terminals under the hood (bonnet) for use in jump starting. The +ve has a 2" square black plastic cover and the -ve is to the right of it - a silver colored frame connection.

If you mean the Flat tire indicator button, it's next to the parking brake.
Yes.
Hold down the tire indicator button for about 10 seconds while driving. That is located under the Hand Brake.
their trunk, tusks, flat feet, large ears
It is relatively easy. On the passenger side you have to remove the cover that is attached with a plastic knob. You have to remove three bolts that are easily accessible. On the driver's side you remove the small panel to get at the bolts. To remove the lights on the trunk you have to remove the plastic grommets that hold the trunk panel in place. The grommets are released by prying the button away from the grommet. I used a small flat bladed screwdriver to open it up then pulled the button off with a open ended wrench that I placed between the parts to remove the button. You will also have to remove the cable that hold the trunk release handle in order to remove the trunk panel. There is only one bolt that holds the tail light in place. Move the light to the outside of the trunk in order to slide the retainers away from the trunk lip.
the one on the trunk pops out easy with a small flat head screwdriver be careful not to scratch your paint on the trunk..
A button
Look in the right side trunk - remove the flat floor trunk panel which should allow you to pop up the raised portion of the trunk floor to expose the battery compartment.
It's the left control key.
as in a telephone jack, a jack in a deck of cards, and a jack used to change a flat tire which is usually stored in the trunk of a car.
