Under the pasengers side dash, look under the glove compartment, at the bottom of heater unit. There you'll find a small hex head screw that holds a plastic strap in place. This will release the filter retainer. There should be 2 filters, one visible, the other runs behind the visible one, vertically. Both should be replaced.
