Open the hood and secure it in the raised position. Then peel back the weather striping on the passenger side of cowl cover. This is the hard plastic piece. Remove the cabin air filter access panel housing cover. This is under the windshield almost. Locate the tabs on the left and right sides of the cabin air filter and
push the tabs outward. Push the cabin air filter to the right and then remove by pulling straight up. Replace filter and reverse the above procedures.

The cabin filter on a Saturn I200 can be replaced by opening the glove compartment and accessing the filter housing. The filter can then be popped out and a new unit installed.
A 1997 Cadillac Deville does not have an air filter for the interior cabin. If the air seems to not be as cool or thicker than normal, the evaporator core might need to be cleaned.
