I just change my cabin filter on a Lincoln LS 2000 .
1 ... open the hood
2 ... go to the passenger side and look exactly at the botom of the hood from the inside engine area .
So at the END of the hood and passenger area you going to see a long cover that it has about 5 holders . Remove those holders with a plyer and remoce that long cover .
There you will see the cobin filter .Pull it out and replace it with a new one .
Put back the cover with those holders and you are finish.
