The 2003 Mazda camshaft position in sensor can be found on the back of the left-hand cylinder head. The camshaft position sensor should be labeled as such.
It is located on the inside of the distributor . Three pin connector .
On a 1999-2005 model Mazda Miata the camshaft position sensor is located on the valve cover towards the rear of the engine (closest to the firewall). It has one 3-pin connector connected to it and one 10mm bolt to remove the sensor
The camshaft position sensor on a Mazda Miata is changed by disconnecting the wiring harness and unscrewing the sensor using a wrench. The threads can then be cleaned and a new sensor torqued into place.
Answerthe camshaft sensor is the distributor but the crankshaft position sensor is located right next to the crankshaft its held on by one bolt
Camshaft position sensor of Mazda Milenia 2,5L DOHC is inside ignition distributor (the same part with iggnition comutator).
Most knock sensors are located in the block on the firewall side. Should be the only sensor with two wires in the block. It will also have a camshaft position sensor as well. Hope that helps. I am not educated on Mazda engines.
It's part of the distributor
