IAW the Mitchell shop manual, the CPS is located top front of the engine between the camshafts. The plastic covered wire going into the sparkplug cover probably goes to it. (may need to remove the top cam belt cover to see it---not real sure as I haven't been into it yet. As I understand, the CPS regulates the fuel to the engine. As I have one that is defective/dirty/out of adjustment, the tailpipe is sooty to the touch.
How fixed camshaft sensor circuit low input
YOu need to remove the belt off the front of the engine, it is under the plastic cover in the top. It has three wires plugged into it. On mine one was black and blue, one was blue, and one was green. I found one at a wrecking yard.
Count the sparkplug wires.
1 3 4 2 Number 1 Cylinder is the forward most cylinder.

The coolant temperature sensor is located under the hood of the car. The sensor is located to the left of the brake booster at the rear of the engine.Ê

The clutch slave cylinder is attached to the middle of the transmission towards the passenger side. It is easy to see by looking under the car at the passenger side door.
The generic manual i have says .006" intake and .010" exhause. but the sticker under the hood of my 89 amigo says .008" intake and exhausey
