THERE IS A CCRM MUDUAL LOCATED NEER THE BATTERY IT HAS A RELAY FOR THE RIGHT FAN AND ONE FOR THE LEFT FAN. YOU HAVE TI REPLACE THE COMPLET CCRM UNIT.
1998 FORD RANGER, WHERE IS THE CCRM LOCATED??? Open the hood. Look on one of the fenders above the wheel well. I have a 4x4 with the 3.0 v6 and my CCRM is on the driver's side. It's located directly beside the brake booster and has "power distribution" written on it. There will be a plastic latch to flip it open on one side as well.
the ac relay is a relay inside the CCRM. The CCRM is located directly beneath the air filter housing. The mounting bracket which retains the air filter housing also retains the CCRM

On the 1996 Taurus it is located in the CCRM which is not serviceable you will need a new one from the auto parts store or from a junk yard. They average 150 at auto zone. The ccrm is right next to the battery its a little box that plugs in.
