They should be located on the front of the engine, just behind the fans and under the coolant overflow tank. If you need more direction than that, follow a spark plug wire from a plug back to its source. Viola, you just found the coil packs.
If the 92 has the same sideways motor as the 94 3.1 mfi the coil pack is directly below the #2,4,6 plugs on the radiator side of the motor
If you have disributorless ignition it will be mounted under the coil pack . If you vehicle still has a distributor it will be in the dist.
The ESC, Electronic Spark Control, Module is located on the radiator side of the engine block, directly beneath and screwed to the coil pack assembly.
The ignition control module is located directly beneath the coil packs. These can be found at the rear of the engine, on the top center. Just look for where all the spark plug wires connect, those are the coil packs, and they are bolted to the ignition control module. It has three electrical connectors, two on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side.
On top of the distributor cap.
In a 1993 Chevy Lumina, the ignition module is typically located on the ignition coil pack, which is mounted on the engine. It is usually found near the front of the engine, close to the intake manifold. To access it, you may need to remove the engine cover or other components obstructing the view. Be sure to disconnect the battery before attempting any repairs.
Possibilities to start with: coil/s, module, plugs, wires, injectors, ecm & wiring.

You may also experience an illuminated check engine light or hear unusual sounds from the engine. Additionally, if the vehicle stalls or has trouble maintaining speed, it could indicate a failing coil module. Testing the coil with a multimeter can provide further confirmation of its condition.
The Ignition Control Module (ICM) is located directly above the coil. If you remove the 2 bolts holding the coil on and then romove the coil mounting plate from the car you will see a small rectangular module with wires plugged into it. This is the ICM.
A BAD CRANK SENSOR WILL CAUSE NO SPARK AND NO PULSE SIGNAL TO FUEL INJECTORS a bad ignition module will cause no spark its located under the ignition coil trio pack
Distributor ? whats the problem with the car?? you may want to check the coil packs at the front of the car on almost the bottom of the engine. You can test them by removing the coil pack from the module assy and check for a trigger signal between the module terminals with a test light while someone assist you by turning over the engine.
