they say that the computer module on the 2004 model is in the back of the glove compartment. however, in the previous models, like the 2003, it is in the plastic molding between the third and second window on the passenger side. there you will find your 5 digit code

If have a 2003 and it might be in the same place. It is located behind the right rear panel the the truck space. First you pull off the RR seat belt panel then pull back the lower panel. You will see a green plug and the computer module is right below it. There should the a sticker with your five digit code. It all snaps back in place. My local Mercury dealer wanted $42.50 for this info. Good luck.
