I had the same problem check the crank shaft position sensor i payed maybe 25 bucks for one and its not all that hard to change with the right tools.

pat itself is about $25. Very eazy to replace. Take off the passanger side wheel, the sensor is located on the back side of the engine right at the botton. You will need a 8mm socket wrench to take of off. You can get to it through the opening for the axle.
