i don't know if it is the same but on my 96 Cherokee 4.0 i6 4x4 go to fire wall toward driver side reach down on top of bellhousing it takes 2 people 1 reaching down on bellhousing and 1 laying under Jeep with ratchet.person on the ground cannot see it person on top has to line the tool up on the bolt and help hold socket on while ground man turns slowly.when u find that follow 5 inch wire to disconnect unhook. i believe the part is about $60 . be patient it is time consuming and sort of a pain in butt! i hope this could help u good luck

The cam sensor should be located underneathe your distributor cap. That is the placement on my 98 Grand Cherokee and it should be located there as well on yours.
cam censer is in the distributor the crank censer is between the engine and the transmission on passenger side 2 bolts hold it in place.
The 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee IAT sensor can be found attached to the air intake hose. The IAT sensor will be near the air filter box.
