Behind the timing belt, you'll see the wire running into the engine.
where is located theknock sensor 97 mitssubishi eclipse
i have a 97 gst and on the inner door frame the gross weight is aprox 3100 lbs
where is the crank sensor located on my 1997 Chrysler sebring lxi
Is there a certain way to postition the crank sensor on a 97 k1500?
No, the GST runs the motor on the driver side, where the RS runs a motor on the passenger side. Everything will need to be changed to GST in order to work properly.
Check or replace the CAS (crank angle senor).Sounds like that input sensor to the ecu is not present....that providing your coil pack, wires, plugs, and ecu is good...sound like the problem i had couple of months ago...cam285 @dsm.forums
the manifold will boltup but you need to get a new jpipe and oil/water lines, you can find all that in a kit on ebat fyi
The crank sensor is an important part of the engine wiring. Without it the engine does not know when to fire. There is no way to by pass it.
yes there is but i am unsure of where it sits on the engine. i am unable to get spark to my plugs and most people have told me the problem is the crank sensor.
Check the 97 Eclipse starter solenoid. Also check the wiring for any loose connections. Since the battery and starter are goor, these are the two most likely problem spots.
The crank sensor is on the block between the oil filter and the starter tucked up under the frnt motor mount
THE CRANK SENSOR ON A 97 5.7 IS LOCATED UNDER THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY BETWEEN THE PULLEY AND THE OILPAN. SLIGHTLY TO DRIVERS SIDE
