i changed mine on a 2001 Dodge 1500 with a 318 and it was on top of the bellhousing of the trans right behind the intake. have to do it from the bottom and there is not much room. look for a metal tab sticking up which is attached to the sensor, which is inside, which reads off of your flywheel. mine came out very hard and in pieces. be careful and good luck.
