I have a 95 blazer with a v6 vortec and there are 2 sensor on mine. 1 before the catalitic converter and 1 after it. Both are the same part number. They are easy to replace yourself but anywhere from $46.00 to $79.00 depinding on where you get them from. Good luck.
yes, under the rotor in the distributor
It is bolted into the passenger side of the engine block BEHIND the starter. You can not see are get to it UNTILL you remove the STARTER.
It is on the right head beside the back spark plug.
I would suspect the crankshaft sensor. It could also be a faulty connection. the ecm will also cause it.
