I have just removed my crank sensor on my 1991 h reg 2.0l 740(b200 engine)it is accessed from the near side ,there is a connector on the bulkhead about a third of the way in ,disconnect this and follow the wire down to the sensor which is in the top of the bellhousing below the distributor(just up from the starter motor)it is held in by a 10mm bolt untighten this and then move the sensor from side to side to free it,remove sensor and replace with new if faulty.refit in reverse order.shouldn't take more than 15 minutes but is a bit confined.
