It's screwed into the actual engine head just under where the intake manifold ataches. If you're looking down at the top of the engine from the front of the car with the hood up, it's going to be on the backside of the engine.
Jack the front end of the car up and put jack stands under for backup support just in case (always do this when jacking up *any* vehichle).
Take off the *passenger side* tire/wheel and remove the mud cover panel on the right side under tire well area.
Then take off the engine's serpentine belt and alternator, (taking off the alternator is a bit tricky, but you can find a how-to video on YouTube by searching "2001 Ford escape 4 cylinder alternator removal").
If you have a Haynes manual for Ford Escapes/Mazda Tributes it will best tell you the location of the CHT (Cylinder head temperature) sensor with pictures and everything. But you have to do the actual taking off work blind, because the sensor screws into the engine head from the back and is a little recessed making it out of sight from above (which is the best place to work from when taking it out).
The screw head of the sensor is a 15mm. I tried a wrench and couldn't get it off due to little to none maneuvering space for a wrench.
So, (*being very sure the sensor was bad and having the new one on hand*) I cut the wire between the sensor and it's harness end and used a deep well 15mm socket on a 3/8 ratchet and took the sensor off. Still trying to figure out myself how to get the new one on, though.
To install a cylinder head temperature sensor on a F-250, you disconnect the cylinder head sensor from the electrical connector at the rear of the cylinder head. When installing the new one, you reverse the process of removal. The cylinder head temperature sensor is located by the O2 sensor.
located in the cylinder head
the coolant temperature sensor is actually called cylinder head temperature sensor and its located near the alternater
The coolant temperature sensor on a 2005 Dodge Neon is located on the cylinder head. It is close to the camshaft position sensor.
The Engine coolant temperature sensor is installed in a coolant passage which is located at the front left cornerof the cylinder head.
The temperature sensor to the computer is located on the thermostat housing. On the 4 cylinder it is on the right side of the engine block.
It depends on which of them. The one for coolant is located in the water inlet. Ambient temperature sensor is located in the filter box.
There is not a temperature fuse it has a coolant temperature sensor at the back of the cylinder head
There is a coolant temperature sensor and a temperature gauge sensor. the coolant sensor is located on driver side of the cylinder head. screws right into it, and the temperature gauge sensor is on the front side of the cylinder head right under the distributor. hope this helps

This sensor is located under the intake
