The '91 manual shows the DRL module to be located on the left front fender inner shield. This may be in the engine compartment side or more likely the tire well, I can't be certain. But look around for a module with a single plug on the bottom whose cable goes thru a hole in inner fender up near the front of the inner fender where the headlamps are located. The plug has 10-pins and uses 7 of them. 3 are from the headlamp circuit, 1 from the distance sensor, 1 to the cluster, and 1 ground. There is no troubleshooting info. I can tell you the connections and color code assignments, so that you can trace the paths
If the headlight that runs through the modulator first is out then the daytime running lights won't work. Change the bulb and the daytime lights should then work.
