I need to know where to put transmission fluid and what type of transmission fluid on 1 1997 e420 mercedez benz? ii
On a 1997 Mercury Tracer : The AUTOMATIC transmission fluid dipstick would be on the side of the transmission ( transaxle ) in the area of the brake fluid reservoir . The manual transmission ( transaxle ) does not have a dipstick
i have a 1989 Toyota Camry le and not sure where to poor the transmission fluid
in the dip stick hole.
dumb question, you put the transmission fluid is the hole the dip stick is in, its like this on all cars that i know of
From the transmission fluid level dip stick. Remove the stick, use a funnel (the tube is very small, about 1/2 inch diameter), fill in the ATF
I'm trying to find where the dip stick for transmission fluid on a 1997 Ford aspire is located
to add transmission fluid, pour it down the tube where the dip stick goes. Not the dip stick for the motor oil, but the transmission fluid. It is located by the fire wall under the hood. I use a funnel attached to a hose to stick in the tube, makes it a whole lot easier.
Engine idling in park. Check level on stick.
To check the transmission fluid on a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder you first need to pull the dipstick out from the tube next to the?ætransmission. Wipe the stick with a lint-free piece of cloth and reinsert the dipstick. Pull out again and read the level where the transmission fluid reaches.
You can use any type of SAE certified transmission fluid in your 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. You can check the transmission fluid level with the transmission fluid dipstick.
