Jaguar took this away! Stupid! It is meant to be for life. However it is a good idea to change fluid after 90k miles! I fink there is a screw under gear box and level can only be check by pressure of flow! Taking my 2000 stype to specialist £150
The VW Beetle does not have clutch fluid. There is not any fluid associated with the clutch. The transmission has transmission fluid.
Std. transmission? Bad clutch? Auto transmission? Check transmission fluid level
You add transmission fluid through the same tube where the transmission dipstick is located. You need a funnel used for transmission oil. The funnel is long, narrow and the end can fit into the dipstick tube.
If the transmission has electronic controls, then a module could be bad. If not, then the transmission could need a rebuild. If it is a front wheel drive, check the cv joints for damage.
Assuming you mean transmission vent: 1) Excessively high fluid level. 2) Tube has hose incorrectly located.
you don't have to check, top off, or change transmission fluid on a Jaguar. Their transmissions are manufactured "oiled for life".
You can't easily check it, because the transmission is sealed.

there is tranny fluid but its built in there is no way to check it, i was told these buy the dealer it never burns it ????? hopefully this helps
There is an 8mm plug on the passenger side of the transmission. Remove the plug and add fluid there until fluid is up to the bolt hole. Reinstall the plug.
You can not add fluid to the Jaguar 2000 S-Type as it has a sealed transmission box. It must be taken into a mechanic to have the fluid changed.

IN THE TRANSMISSION!!! SERIOUSLY, To check fluid level, it's under the air cleaner box.
You Check the Transmission fluid by pulling the transmission reseviour dipstick. It is located near the Firewall under the air ducting that goes to the intake. It has loop for a handle.
Dexron 3 transmission fluid is recommended by jaguar
Assuming you mean the transmission drain plug i do not believe there is one on a series three. Just drop the transmission pan if you want to change fluid.
The dipstick to check the transmission fluid on a 2004 Lincoln Aviator is located along the left side of the engine. It connects directly to the transmission and also serves as a filler tube.
