If this is not an automatic transmission there is no dip stick. you need to go under the vehicle and check the level of the gear oil or fluid level by removing a plug. make sure you have some one that knows where and how to do this the first time you attempt this. If you are uncomfortible, it is best to pay someone to do it for you to see if you want to attempt it in the future. it can get messy. If the exhaust is hot you can get burned. TBM69
