If your '97 Dodge GranD Caravan is like the 1996 models, I think you will find the door lock / unlock relays inside the rear door (hatchback door). You will have to open the door and remove the plastic cover that covers the entire inside-facing panel below the rear window. Then you can see and access the relays between the metal shells of the rear door. Hint: this is probably not an "outside job" if you are located in wintery areas. Use (or borrow) a garage that is long enough a accomodate the van length plus the open rear hatch length -- and watch out for low-hanging hardware such as garage door brackets. You don't want to add body damage to the list of things to correct! Best of luck!
relays will be located by the battery and master cylinder, will have black cover/lid,will not b under dash
If you open the hood, as you are looking at the engine, the relay box will be on your right ( in front of the master cylinder and toward the fender) The cover has tabs that you push to release and you will see the different relays. If you look on the inside cover, they should be labeled for you .
A 2009 Dodge Caravan does not have a reset switch, the fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
where is located ford expedition 1999 relays
I don't know where you got the number '12' for a relay, as all the relays in the box of my 2000 Dodge caravan are named for their function. Same in the Dodge workshop manual, all relays are named. In the vehicle the functions for each relay are marked under the box lid, very clearly.
Under the hood drivers side behind the battery. Remove cover from plastic box they are inside . Inside the cover tells location and what relay are you sure about this? I have a 1993 Caravan and the only thing I see in behind the battery is the computer module. The only relays I know of on this vehicle are behind the dash panel just below the instrument cluster on the left.
In the black distribution box next to the battery.
the fan relays are located below the fans at the center of the radiator at the bottom
There are several relays on that vehicle. We need to know which one you are looking for.
it is located under the radio kinda above the floor heater duct tube ,,relays face to the passengers side ... remember the relays need to be for turn signals NOT relays for lighting!!!! turn relays are blue !!!!
It would be in the Power Distribution Center under the hood, usually on the driver's side; the cover to the box will usually have a guide on the underside of it giving you the locations of specific relays and fuses.
The primary relays are located under the hood, behind the passenger side headlight. You will see a bank of 2 to 8 relays, with some fuse holders. Hopes this helps.
