Where is the engine coolant heater located on a 2002 silverado?

There may not be one. My 2003 Silverado LS lacks one even though it's listed on a GM document as part of the equipment installed on my truck. My Owner's Manual says the coolant heater will be wrapped up and located near the Power Steering pump. But there isn't one installed. Check with your local Chevy dealer - he should be able to determine what optional equipment came on your truck using the SIN.
I'd like to ask Rick Wagoner how come my truck didn't have one and yet he earned $13.6 million as late as June 2003 in spite of closed assembly plants and a tanking economy. And a few months later needed billions in tax dollars to bailout his company!
