The EVAP canister is located underneath the vehicle, on the driver's side, just behind where the front seat is located. It is a black plastic box with hoses and an electrical connection.

The EVAP Fuel canister is located above the spare tire carrier behind the fuel tank.

The 2002 Ford Windstar ECU can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The ECU will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
The EVAP canister purge solonoid on a 1997 Taurus 3.0L OHV is mounted on the firewall on the passenger side between the strut tower and the engine computer multi-plug. Note: you will see the green EVAP test cap on the plastic line that connects to the canister purge solonoid.
