it is in the right front fender. take off the wheel and the forward well cover ans there it is with another block box I'm trying to find the name of if you know put in reply please
reply:Correct. It is mounted in the passenger side fender. The other box is the PCM( Powertrain Contol Module). Both the PCM and evap canister are "not replaceable" according to Haynes. The Haynes manual says that the PCM must be reprogrammed by a GM technician. ??? I removed the evap canister from a parts cavalier yesterday and the lines said "Not Repairable" in bold white letters. I bought the replacement anyway and will attempt the repair. The system may need to be reprogrammed before working properly and eliminating the Check Engine light once replaced.
