if it is the 5.7 it should be on the left side of the upper intake. about 3 inches tall and about 2 in diameter. it will have an electrical connector and plastic tube connected to it.
Sounds like a bad starter solenoid
It depends on which solenoid you mean. The STARTERsolenoid is integral to the starter.

ford has a starter solenoid located on the passenger side fender under the hood. replace that solenoid
It's located on the side of the starter.
That year did not have a CAM SENSOR.
