There is none. Same french-built sealed system transmission used on BMW 3 series of common years. Only way to check it is to remove plug and make sure fluid level is to bottom of lip for plug bolt.
There isn't one. It only has a filler hole on the tranny itself. It is a sealed unit....maint. free. you don't add fluid to it
Drop the tank and it comes out the hole where the lines go into the tank.
there should be two hole near the bottom of dipstick if the oil is at the top of the second hole from the bottom its full if its at the bottom hole its a quart low
Use a 1/4" drive ratchet and extension. run the extension up the hole in the center of the filter cover. The filter is a replaceable cartridge with a gasket not a spin on.
I had the same trouble last month it was the A LEAKING VALVE COVER GASKET it is about a 2.5 hr job
An oil filler cap is a metal that covers the hole where the oil is poured.
Oil filler cap cover the hole in the engine where engine oil is added
A thole is a hole for the pin of an oar in a row boat, so a thole filler is an oar.
There are filler holes for this, engine oil goes in the valve cover hole. Auto tranny? goes into the dipstick hole for the tranny. Get someone to show you! If you are this mechanically deficiant do not try this without asking someone to show you. Putting the wrong fluid in here and there will make your jeep a big POS and cost you lots of money! No shame in asking questions! After that you will know.
the fuel filler neck is most likely ruted and has a hole in it
. You cannot check it because its a sealed system you must go to a shop. you cannot add any tran fluid because its sealed. . Let me add something here. I just changed my transmission in my 1997 Catera. You have to raise the vehicle level. Go under and while the engine is running and up to operating temperature just like any automatic transmission. There is a filler bolt on the passenger side of the transmission. That bolt comes out and you use a pump to pump out the fluid to transmission. You know it is full when it starts to come out the hole. Fluid level suppose to be to the bottom of the thread of the bolt hole. This is very similar to manual trans-axles not hard to do once your car is up off the ground. I have changed 5 Catera Transmissions in the last 2 years. In different cars.
they do?
