The flasher is inside the steering column. You have to take off the plastic cover to get at it.
The flasher is located on the back side of the fuse box uder the dash on the dirivers side. The flasher is in the steering colum.
Take the plast cover off the steering column between the steering wheel and the dash. It should be located right on top or on the side.
I have an 1997 Contour Se on my car it is on top between the steering wheel and the instrument panel it's a button with green arrows on it
The flasher unit is on the left hand side in the steering column.remove 3 screws on top and 3 on the bottom,with a Phillips screwdriver,push up clip and pull out.
It's inside the steering column cover , the turn signal lever and hazard flasher button are part of the multi function switch and stick outside of the steering column cover
I assume you mean the turn signal/hazard flasher. it is actually a relay located in the steering wheel assembly, next to the turn signal wand. Remove the screws on the underside of the steering wheel cover to access the relay.
The flasher buitton is on the top center of the steering column behind the steering wheel
A flasher relay can be found at the end of the signal light lever on a steering column. Remove the steering covers and the light flasher will be visible.
I just fixed mine, it is between the steering wheel and control panel. Just unscrew the bottom plastic cover under the steering wheel and its located right where the blinker arm is. Simple fix.
The turn signal flasher is located on the end of the lever that goes into the steering wheel. Removing the steering column cover to make the flasher visible.
Next check the turn signal switch inside the steering column. check to see if the bulb is dead
Perhaps problem in the steering column switch?
