In the Montero Sport , there is no relay. The flasher is located on the left dash by the junction block.
The flasher most likely is under the dash. It should be mounted in or near the fuse box and there will be one for turn signals and one for emergency flashers.
There are two relays, one for the emergency flasher and one for the turn signals. Replace the Flasher Relay for the turn signals, it is defective.
It has one flasher that controls both the turn signals and the emergency flashers. If the turn signals are working then the flasher is not your problem. However the flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, above the fuse block, mounted on the kick panel.
Same flasher for left and right signals but a different flasher for the emergency flashers.
The directional signals and the emergency flasher each have their own flasher unit. They are the same type of flasher and should be beside each other under the dash.
If both sides are out as well as the hazard lights then the flasher relay is suspect.
Yep, one for the signals and one for the emergency flashers.
Emergency flashers are a separate circuit. I would replace the turn signal flasher relay. To find it, switch on your turn signals and follow the sound. The flasher is probably worn. I hope this helps.AnswerWhat he said, or you have a bulb out...
check the recalls there is something in there about tail light and signals
The speed problem with the blower motor is a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. Replace it. The non-functioning turn signals, is more than likely a defective Flasher Relay or a blown fuse. If the turn signals come on but do not flash it is the flasher. The speed problem with the blower motor is a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. Replace it. No, there is only one flasher which works both the turn signals and emergency flasher. It is located on the drivers side, under the dash, above fuse block, mounted on kick panel.
If your turn signal flashers stopped working, play with the emergency flasher button on top of the steering column. Our 97 Sable turn signals quit once and luckily I pushed the emergency flasher button in and out many times and the signals have worked ever since. But the emergency flashers don't work, but I can live with that.
