what fluid cap?
Remove cap to power steering reservoir, add fluid, place cap on reservoir when done.
There is no such thing as a 2010 Monte Carlo, so the answer would be no
DOT 3 brake fluid as listed on the master cylinder fill cap.
On a 2001 Monte Carlo it is located on the radiator just below the radiator cap.
It should be on the driver Sid eof the ngine compartment towards the front about a foot down.
Its hiding behind the license plate
If it has an HEI distributor (big cap), the coil is on the cap.
I am looking at '70s bodies as to my question. Harry
I would try distibutor cap and rotor.
look for a oil cap that you take off on the valve cover.
This is the firing order for the distributor cap of the 85 Monte Carlo with the number 1 cylinder at dead center. The post will be 1 then clockwise will be 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
The cap is on top of the pump which is located on the front (passenger side) of the engine between the drive belt and the plenum. Says so on top of it! Umm...no. The cap is located on the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side on the 3.8 liters found in the '98 and '99 Z34 Monte Carlos. It is a SEALED system which means that unless you have a leak you should never have to put fluid in it.
