The 1997 Jeep Cherokee fog light relay fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box is located in the engine compartment. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Look in the manual, should be in the glove box.
I don't think US models have this feature, but after a quick search it says foreign models do and that the switch is on the indicator/turn signal switch and it says to pull out on the end of it
It should be for the rear wiper or rear defroster. I have a 1992 (no power switch), but on the left side of my column are the fog light and rear defrost switches, and on the right is the rear wiper switch.
My Jeep liberty fog lamp switch will not pull out unless the control for the headlights is turned on first. Could this be the reason?
The fog lamps are activated on a 2000 Grand Cherokee via the headlight switch. Pull the END of the lever OUT.
The fog light switch is on the end of the turn signal switch. Just pull the end of the turn signal switch and the fog lights will come on. (Turn signal switch and fog light switch are one assembly)
If you have factory installed fog lights (driving lights) you have to pull out the knob on the light stem towards the direction of the drivers side mirror
