The beetle is a fuel efficient car. 25 in the city and 32 on the highway makes is fuel efficient.
If you open up the fuel door the tire psi information is in there. I have a 2001 VW Beetle and my tire psi should be between "28 to a MAX of 38 psi.
im not totaly familiar with this particular car but you may have inadvertently tripped the security ignition cut-out,if in fact they have one,hope it helps ,can you specify which circuit the fuse protects? The Beetle doe not have a security cut out. Is the car cranking over? If not check your fuses on top of battery if it is cranking then check your fuel pump relay if that is not the problem it is probably the fuel pump they go just like that. Turn the car off and it will not start fuel pump is bad
most cars with electric fuel pumps have a safety circuit breaker to cut off the pump if in an accident. the breaker reset is located under dash or in trunk or rear of vehicle.locate yours and press reset.hope that helps
