The filter is located INSIDE the fuel tank. It is serviced as a complete "module" only (fuel filter, fuel pump & sending unit). The fuel tank should be drained & removed from the vehicle to access the module from the top of the tank. Some people cut an access hole through the trunk, but if you make a mistake, you can puncture the fuel tank & cause a fire.
